There are many ways to enjoy a bathtub tea!
Use ¼ to ⅓ of the contents from the pouch for each full body bath or a couple tablespoons to make a lovely foot bath.
Use A Muslin Bag
Method One: Place ¼ to ⅓ of contents from the pouch in the provided muslin bag (use less for a foot bath). Tie the top shut. Hang the muslin bag from your faucet and fill the tub while the water runs through your bag. Then toss your herb bundle into a tub of warm water. Use the muslin bag as a scrub and squeeze the bag often to get as much herbal goodness out of the herbs into your bath!
Method Two: Place ¼ to ⅓ of contents from the pouch in the provided muslin bag (use less for a foot bath). Tie the top shut. Fill your bathtub with the hottest water you have available. Toss you herb fill muslin bag into the tub. WAIT for the water to cool to a comfortable temperature for your bath. While you are waiting the herbs will infuse into the bath water just like a big cup of tea. Once the water has cooled, carefully get into the tub to enjoy your bath. Use the muslin bag as a scrub and squeeze the bag often to get as much herbal goodness out of the herbs into your bath!
Pre-Infuse Your Bath
Stove Top Method: Place ¼ to ⅓ of contents from the pouch into a large pot. Fill the pot with water and heat to almost boiling, keeping a lid on the pot so the essential oils from the herbs don’t evaporate. Take the pot off the heat and let your bath infuse for 20 minutes to a few hours. Then strain the liquid directly into your tub, fill the tub the rest of the way with water and your bath is ready.
Mason Jar Method: Place ¼ to ⅓ of contents from the pouch into a heat-proof mason jar. Add just boiled water to the jar, covering the herbs. Place a lid on the jar and let the herbs infuse for 20 minutes to a few hours. Then strain the liquid directly into your tub, fill the tub the rest of the way with water and your bath is ready.
Cautions & Warnings:
May make the bathtub slippery! Use caution when getting in or out of the tub.
For external use only.
Not meant for children. Consult a physician before use if you are pregnant, nursing, have epilepsy, or other health needs. If you have sensitive skin perform a patch test before use.
